Wellbeing
Wellbeing can be defined as the state of being “comfortable, healthy and happy”. Positive wellbeing helps us to thrive in an uncertain world.
Educate U is committed, in both our ethos and practise, to supporting the wellbeing of our children their families and our staff team.
In January 2024, after a year of auditing, where leaders, staff, pupil and parents and carers contributed their views and evidence against set criteria and benchmarks, we successfully passed assessment and were awarded the Wellbeing Award for schools: 2024-2027.
The report stated
The evidence presented, together with meetings with stakeholders, demonstrated that Educate U is passionate about emotional wellbeing and mental health (EWMH). Leaders and staff are committed to supporting the wellbeing of pupils, colleagues and parents and this is reflected across the whole provision. A truly impressive school.
Looking towards the future, the work carried out to achieve the award will now lay a foundation that we can be developed on, to grow and further support our children and young people, their families, our incredible staff team and others across the wider school community.
