Vision and Values
We have 5 school trauma-informed values which underpin our school mission statement and act as both a supportive, progressive framework for our children and young people and as guiding principles for our staff. The 5 values tell the story of how we work with our children at Educate U, to our children and families. The values also sit alongside Maslow’s Hierarchy of Need, in understanding what barriers children and young people need to overcome to allow for learning to take place.
Vision 2023-2025
- To ensure and drive the delivery of an exceptional child-centred curriculum, and therapeutic provision for our children.
- To provide strong and effective leadership, working with an updated School Improvement Plan to move the school from a Good to an Outstanding OFSTED rating.
- To have the school recognised as a national example of how evidence-based, trauma-informed practise can have measured success with children of SEND. This will be through a stronger online presence, accreditation, awards and partnerships.
