Open Day - Information

We offer three Open Days each academic year to showcase our school and to welcome prospective parents, carers, children and professionals to Educate U and all the incredible provision we can offer our children and young people.

Each tour is around an hour long and you can expect the following:

Guided School Tours by Our Expert Team

Our highly trained staff team will meet and greet you and be your guide for the tour. Let them walk you through the vibrant classrooms, interactive spaces, and purposeful learning resources that define the enriching environment at Educate U. Our staff know our school and our children extremely well and can answer any questions about the school as you look around.

30-Minute Headteacher's Welcome

You will meet the headteacher and other key senior leaders on your tour and join a welcome session hosted by our Headteacher. The headteacher will talk about Educate U and our educational philosophy, the commitment to the nurturing atmosphere that sets us apart and how we move children from, in many cases, non-attenders of their current setting, to happy children who are achieving. The headteacher will showcase all the provisions the school has to offer and the ways in which we work with, and support, out families. It's an opportunity to connect, understand, and envision the potential journey ahead for your own child.

Your Questions, Our Answers

We understand the difficult and long journey that most of our parents and carers and prospective parents and carers have had to get the point of reaching our school door.
No doubt you will have many questions relating to the needs of your own child. At the end of the welcome speech, there is a dedicated question and answer session featuring our Headteacher, SENCO, deputy headteachers, and lead therapist. Ask about our approach to personalised learning, support systems in place, and anything else on your mind. Your child's journey is unique and it is so important that you leave with the confidence to know about what our school is like and who we are, to make the very best choice of placement for your child.

Tours are generally timed at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm with headteacher’s welcome at 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm. Tours can be busy and we do have a cap on numbers, so we encourage you to book early.

• On your computer, open Google Calendar
• On the left, next to "Other calendars" click 'Add' followed by 'From URL'.
• Click this button Copy to clipboard to copy the feed address to your clipboard and paste it into the 'URL of calendar' field
• Click 'Add calendar'. The calendar will appear on the left side under "Other calendars"

It might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.
